Sales Floor Supervisor - South Park Mall
About the Role
As the Sales Floor Supervisor, you are accountable for driving customer service to achieve profitable sales growth by leading and engaging associates, managing company merchandise standards, and executing sales-building programs. You will train and develop associates to meet performance goals and uphold JCPenney’s standards.
Responsibilities
- Customer Service & Sales: Direct customer service and sales activities; resolve customer issues and concerns. Model and enforce outstanding customer service standards. Maximize sales through appropriate staff scheduling.
- Store Merchandise Standards: Manage merchandise standards through execution of Put to Fixture, SET, and Visual processes. Lead planning and execution of all merchandise and visual elements, including pricing and signing. Maintain high presentation standards and ensure clean recovery of sales floor and fitting rooms.
- Omnichannel: Train, mentor, and coach associates on jcp.com processes, including order pickup, delivery, and returns. Manage Ship from Store, Buy Online Pick Up In Store, and Curbside Pickup orders within prescribed timeframes. Monitor and act on Omnichannel metrics and reporting.
- Specialty Businesses: Drive sales growth in Fine Jewelry, Mattress, and Window businesses. Oversee associate training, care/protection plans, and SET processes. Identify sell-through opportunities and remerchandise the selling floor to increase sales. Execute defective and return-to-vendor activities to reduce shrink.
- Team Development: Train, coach, and develop associates. Partner with leadership to source and hire hourly talent. Address performance issues and provide in-the-moment coaching.
- Performance Standards: Consistently meet performance standards, including shrink and safety initiatives, Omnichannel efficiency, scheduling, associate relations, engagement, customer service, profit, productivity, and attendance.

Pay
Pay Range: USD $19.00/Hr – USD $23.75/Hr.
