Sales Floor Associate - Monument Store

Full-time positions are available. Pay: $15.95 per hour.

About the role

This position involves bringing processed clothing to the sales floor and assisting customers. Excellent customer service skills are required. Retail center hours are 9:00 a.m. to 9:00 p.m. Monday through Saturday and 9:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m. on Sundays.

Responsibilities

• Meet or exceed minimum productivity standards and KPIs for assigned duties.
• Act as an ambassador of pricing according to Goodwill standards of quality and value, including researching item values online or using company tools.
• Maintain a clean and organized sales floor by regularly cleaning shelves and racks, picking up items, and organizing products.
• Ensure sales floor areas are properly merchandised (categorized, colorized, sized) and flex product to improve customer shopping experience and increase sales.
• Assist production by communicating targeted needs for the floor to the manager on duty.
• Provide excellent customer service by adhering to the 10-foot rule and answering product questions.
• Rotate or pull old or unsold products from the sales floor to refresh product selection.
• Identify and pull E-Commerce products from the sales floor.
• Follow all retail center policies, safety processes, and procedures to ensure a safe working environment.
• Cross-train in other departments or areas and act as a backup when required.
• Perform additional job duties as needed.

Requirements

• High School diploma or equivalent is preferred.
• One year of retail experience is preferred.
• Prior visual merchandising experience is preferred.
• Attention to detail and ability to make decisions.
• Ability to use basic technologies to follow company standards.
• Ability to assess quality and value of products, including color vision and pricing judgment.
• Effective communication with customers, managers, supervisors, staff, and peers.
• Ability to work a varied schedule, including weekends, evenings, holidays, and occasional overtime.
