Duties And Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute a strategic sales plan targeting customers in: FF&E logistics (retail, restaurant, convenience store, healthcare, commercial projects)
  • New store openings/closures, rebranding/remodel project management, fixture rollouts, forward deployed warehouse consolidation
  • Consolidation and distribution programs/projects in the defined sectors
  • B2B Final-mile and white-glove delivery solutions
  • Identify, qualify, and close new business opportunities within SCS and NXTPoint offerings
  • Conduct consultative discovery to understand complex customer needs and design tailored logistics solutions while leveraging the complete service offering of NXTPoint Logistics
  • Partner with operations and engineering teams to develop custom 3PL solutions
  • Manage the full sales cycle, including: Prospecting, Solution design, Proposal development, Contract negotiation, Onboarding assistance
  • Establish and maintain strong Customer relationships through high emotional intelligence and service orientation
  • Stay informed on market trends within freight forwarding, FF&E logistics, and specialized supply chain services
  • Participate in and lead sales presentations and negotiations
  • Meet or exceed annual individual sales goals and objectives within the prescribed time frame
  • Complete required reports in a timely and accurate manner and maintain data in the Customer Relationship Management system (Hubspot)
  • Leverage sales enablement tools (Zoominfo, LinkedIn Sales Navigator) to create prospects based on the ideal customer profile
  • Work closely with the Marketing Department in leading proposals, presentations, RFPs and other collateral materials, as required
  • Work closely with Sales and Contracts team on pricing, contract terms and conditions
  • Develop and maintain a positive and professional working relationship with all members of the team, to include customers, service partners and internal stakeholders
  • Accept additional job assignments and participate in project work as requested
  • Other duties as assigned

Qualifications

  • College degree or equivalent work experience required; Minimum 3 (three) years business development experience in relevant sales role within industry; Proven track record of developing prospects and securing new Customers; Prior familiarity with freight forwarding, FF&E logistics, consolidation/distribution, final-mile B2B white glove delivery & Project/Installation Services.
  • Travels to support marketplace activity and company requirements – 25%-40% travel requirements.
  • Demonstrated Sales and Leadership skills.
  • Ability to read, analyze, and interpret prospective client relocation policies and contract documents.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills for collaborating with prospect contacts and others as appropriate.
  • Ability to effectively present information to senior management, prospects, and/or public groups.
  • Highly customer service oriented/driven interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to prioritize and re-prioritize as situations and needs change throughout the workday.
  • Ability to multi-task and organize workflow to meet deadlines and prioritize work.
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Office suite and related appropriate programs and software.
  • Demonstrated ability to work across cultures.
  • Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.
  • Ability to write routine reports and correspondence.
  • Ability to speak effectively before groups of customers or employees of the organization.
  • Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts, interest, commissions, proportions, percentages, area, circumference, and volume.
  • Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form.
  • Ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations.
