About the Role

As a Sales Executive with LoopNet, you’ll represent the industry’s most sophisticated digital advertising and marketing solutions, partnering with top owners and brokers to develop comprehensive strategies for showcasing and differentiating their property portfolios online. You’ll build long-lasting, service-focused relationships by advising on product frequency, reach, brand efficacy, and ROI using our proprietary analytic tools. Daily responsibilities include prospecting, studying industry trends, and conducting product demonstrations, all while leveraging CoStar Group’s deep expertise in commercial real estate.

This role is on-site in our Norfolk, VA office. Extensive classroom and field training will equip you with the product and industry knowledge needed to build market credibility, represent our brand, and achieve career success. You’ll also develop marketable skills in digital marketing and sales by collaborating with internal experts, product marketing, and product management teams.

Responsibilities

  • Build and maintain client relationships through consultative sales methods to drive advertising revenue and become a trusted advisor on strategic marketing plans.
  • Prospect new clients using CoStar Group’s extensive property data to drive sales and close new business.
  • Collaborate with LoopNet and CoStar teams to maximize sales revenue.
  • Develop subject matter expertise in digital advertising strategies, commercial real estate trends, and your specific market territory.
  • Deliver outstanding customer support through regular, value-added communication, sharing market insights, and offering solutions to help clients achieve their goals.
  • Conduct regular in-person meetings, requiring travel by car (and occasionally beyond your office’s driving radius).

Requirements

  • 4+ years of successful full-cycle sales and account management experience in a B2B environment, selling CRE, digital advertising, marketing solutions, AdTech, PropTech, FinTech, financial securities, business intelligence, or data & analytics.
  • Bachelor’s degree from an accredited not-for-profit, in-person university or college.
  • Proven track record of exceeding sales targets and quotas with a focus on customer experience.
  • Current and valid driver’s license with a satisfactory driving record reflecting responsible behavior and compliance with traffic laws.

  • Experience in commercial real estate.
  • Success in building long-term relationships and partnerships at the senior/C-suite level.
  • Ability to analyze data, build reports, and make strategic recommendations based on market trends and performance metrics.
  • Access to an operational motor vehicle by your start date.
  • Flexibility to adapt to a high-growth company’s evolving needs.
  • Self-starter who can work independently and within a team environment.

Pay

Base compensation: $70,000–$80,000 annually, with uncapped commissions and performance-based incentives, including an annual Presidents Club trip.
