Sales Executive - Employee Benefits
Position Overview
World’s Client Advisors bring comprehensive risk management and employee benefit solutions to businesses and individuals. Your primary focus is identifying, prospecting, cultivating, and closing new employee benefits clients (small, medium, and large businesses) by leveraging World’s unique capabilities and broad market access.
Your main focus is on designing and delivering employee benefits programs—including medical, dental, vision, life, disability, and voluntary benefits—but you are also empowered to help clients with complementary solutions such as commercial and personal lines insurance, 401(k) and retirement plans, and payroll and human resources outsourcing services.
Responsibilities
- Identify, contact, cultivate, and close new business opportunities through cold calls, prospecting emails, mail, professional associations, and networking
- Bring all of World’s solutions to clients—beyond employee benefits (and enjoy the financial rewards of doing so)
- Identify exposures, make recommendations, and create custom programs to eliminate gaps in coverage
- Round out accounts for existing clients and drive account retention through renewal workflows
Requirements
- 3-5 years+ of experience working in an insurance brokerage or carrier
- Personable and highly motivated to grow personal success
- Leverage excellent listening skills and consistently demonstrate a strong customer focus as well as a sustained sense of urgency and ability to meet deadlines
- Consultative and bring a positive and resourceful approach to dealing with prospective clients and associates
- Experience with Employee Benefits and Sales software platforms such as BenefitPoint and sales CRM’s like HubSpot
- Work independently and enjoy a high degree of interaction with team members
- Contribute to a collaborative environment by consistently demonstrating teamwork, high motivation, positive behavior, and effort to achieve goals and objectives
- Consistently demonstrate effective written and verbal communication skills
- Possess a strong attention to detail and the ability to solve problems with minimal assistance

- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and projects simultaneously
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite

Pay
The base salary range for this role is $60,000 to $200,000+, depending upon your level of experience. The base salary depends on your experience and your ability to drive revenue. Your base salary grows as your book of business grows, with tremendous potential to significantly exceed the top of this range.
