About the role
Meter is building the modern networking infrastructure that businesses like Lyft and Reddit rely on to stay connected. As an Enterprise Sales Engineer, you will partner with our Enterprise Sales team to bring better networks to more customers by using your technical expertise to win over the hearts and minds of IT and network engineers alike.
Responsibilities
- Build relationships with the Sales team, including Sales reps and leaders, to support and lead technical discovery calls.
- Design and build technical solutions for prospects that help our Sales team win deals.
- Join the Sales Engineering team to build process and structure, design and build new assets, and standardize documentation and training for core networking areas.
- Collaborate with the Account Executives to create urgency and drive deals forward.
- Translate customer feedback from complex deployments directly to the Product team to influence the hardware and software product roadmap.
Requirements
- Expert knowledge in TCP/IP, 802.11ax/be, TLS, DHCP, DNS, NAT, 802.1X, VPNs, SD-WAN, IDS/IPS, Multicast, OSPF, BGP & EVPN-VXLAN.
- Highly motivated and experienced in Sales Engineering roles at high-growth companies.
- Professional development focus, ideally with completed industry certifications such as CCNA, CCNP, CCIE, CWNA, CWDP, CWSP, CWDE, JNCIA, JNCIS, JNCIE, Network+, Security+.
Qualifications
- Experience in enterprise networking, troubleshooting, and problem-solving.
- Strong communication and presentation skills to inspire and get buy-in across multiple stakeholders.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team to achieve sales goals.
