Sales Engineer – New Graduate

This is a structured developmental role designed for a recent graduate. The Sales Engineer is responsible for supporting the sales process, developing foundational technical and commercial skills, and closing smaller-scale opportunities for industrial refrigeration projects.
Responsibilities
- Act as a technical expert and communicate engineering solutions effectively to customers
- Manage the full sales cycle from prospecting through closing and implementation
- Collaborate with engineering to design and bid customized solutions
- Develop and maintain trusted relationships with customer decision-makers
- Serve as an advisor across all product and service offerings
- Coordinate with internal teams including engineering and marketing to support customer needs
- Represent the company at industry events and trade shows
- Support service delivery and customer satisfaction for new and existing accounts
- Participate in lead generation through networking, prospecting, and marketing initiatives
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date customer information in CRM systems
Requirements
- Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering (BSME) or related field
- Experience with CRM systems such as HubSpot or Salesforce
- Strong mechanical aptitude and ability to explain technical concepts
- Excellent project management, communication, and organizational skills
- Must be able to remain in a stationary position (seated or standing) for extended periods
- Occasionally may need to lift or carry items up to 25 pounds (e.g., office supplies, small equipment)
Preferences
- Previous experience in sales or business development
- Engineer-in-Training (EIT) certification
- Proficiency in CRM tools (e.g., Salesforce, HubSpot) is a plus
