Sales Engineer
About the role
Sell fault monitoring equipment used by electric utilities for locating, predicting, and preventing grid faults.
Responsibilities
- Expand sales throughout assigned territory by calling on electric utilities
- New customer acquisition
- Develop proposals for customers
- Attend conferences and trade shows
Requirements
- Based in the Western US or willing to travel extensively to the area
- 5+ years of experience selling to the electrical power industry, particularly in US power grid technologies used on distribution and transmission systems
- Ability to teach and relate ideas or concepts to individuals with varied levels of experience
- B.S. Electrical Engineering degree or equivalent experience in the field of electric power engineering
- Experience in working with network protection, automation & control devices, IT and data communications
Benefits
- Salary up to $150,000 (DOE)
