Duties & Responsibilities
- Identify sales opportunities and generate new leads
- Coordinate customer requirements and processes with Inertial Labs product features and benefits
- Manage and expand distributor and sales representative networks in North America territory
- Perform technical analysis of customer applications and requirements
- Create sales and technical proposals, quotations, and presentations
- Process sales orders
- Collaborate with the sales and marketing team to maximize Inertial Labs sales revenue
- Work with marketing team to create datasheets for new products and manage updates for current products
- Become an Inertial Labs products portfolio subject matter expert and stay updated on competitive solutions and industry trends
- Deliver product demonstrations, answer technical questions, and provide guidance and advice to customers
- Provide basic training and coaching to internal teams, partners, and customers
- Conduct site visits to understand how Inertial Labs solutions are used and provide feedback to improve offerings
- Provide troubleshooting support for emergency customer issues in coordination with Inertial Labs Technical Support Team
Pre-Requisites / Skills / Experience Requirements
- Solid experience and strong track record in Sales Engineering of complicated technical products (sensors and systems in Aerospace and Defense applications is preferred)
- Highly motivated, self-sufficient professional with technical acumen focused on results and effective communication at all levels
- 3+ years of experience in technical sales engineering within a global organization with multiple product lines
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering, similar field (inertial sensors and systems is preferred), or equivalent experience in applications like UAV, UGV, AUV, autonomous vehicles, Aerospace & Defense etc.
- Excellent CRM management skills (must, preferably HubSpot or ZOHO)
- Deep technical understanding of sensors and systems is a plus
- Strong analytical, written, and verbal communication skills
- Customer-centric mindset
- Experience working with tools like ERP, CRM, HubSpot, SEMRush, Google Analytics, Google, LinkedIn etc.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment that changes rapidly
