Sales Engineer

Ultimate Staffing is seeking a motivated and customer-focused Sales Engineer to join our client's growing team. This direct hire opportunity is ideal for an individual with a Mechanical Engineering background who enjoys working directly with customers, preparing technical quotations, managing orders, and serving as a key liaison between customers and production. This is not a cold-calling sales role. Instead, the Sales Engineer will support existing customers, develop quotations, review engineering revisions, and ensure projects are delivered accurately and on time. This is an Onsite position and will be required to be in the office Monday-Friday 8-5pm Responsibilities Prepare and submit technical quotations based on customer specifications and requirementsRespond to customer inquiries and provide technical support throughout the sales and production processFollow up on quotations and customer ordersReview revision drawings and engineering change notices for accuracyEnter and process orders within company systemsCoordinate with production teams to ensure on-time delivery of customer ordersCommunicate revision changes and project updates to customers and internal departmentsBuild and maintain strong customer relationships through exceptional service and communicationMonitor order status and proactively address potential delays or issues Qualifications Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering required2-3 years of experience in sales engineering, manufacturing, engineering support, or a related technical roleAbility to read and interpret engineering drawings and revision documentsStrong communication, customer service, and relationship-building skillsExcellent organizational and problem-solving abilitiesProficient in Microsoft Office and ERP/order management systems preferred Benefits Competitive compensation Salary of 60-70K a yearMedical, Dental, and Vision InsuranceLife Insurance401(k) Retirement PlanPaid VacationProfit Sharing ProgramIf you have a Mechanical Engineering or Sales Engineering background and enjoy combining technical expertise with customer interaction, we encourage you to apply for this exciting Sales Engineer opportunity through Ultimate Staffing.
