Roles And Responsibilities
- Interpret and qualify customer-provided documents such as prints, CAD files, and specifications
- Full understanding of tolerances, materials, specifications, and processing options that will guide a robust metal supply chain creation
- Manage part specific supply chains by utilizing internal and external processing assets to meet customer quality and delivery requirements
- Evaluate material, labor, and delivery options on a part-level basis and develop contract pricing templates based on awarded work
- Evaluate sales proposals to ensure they are technically accurate and consistent with the organization’s quality standards
- Conduct technical analysis of product configurations to determine customer-specific prices
Requirements
- A high school diploma or GED
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering or equivalent
- One plus year of sales experience, preferably in a metal or manufacturing industry
- Print reading required
- CAD or drafting experience a plus
- Experience with SAP
- MS Office software skills, including Outlook, Word, and Excel
- Experience in sales or customer service is an asset
- Strong attention to detail with the ability to manage multiple priorities effectively
Qualifications
High school diploma or GED required, Bachelor's degree in Engineering or equivalent preferred.
Skills
Print reading required. CAD or drafting experience a plus. Experience with SAP is highly preferred. MS Office software skills required, including Outlook, Word, and Excel.
