Responsibilities
- Appropriately calling on accounts in person in the required area
- Developing channel partners (distributors & representatives) in key territories and/or markets
- Serving as a single point of contact for all Ruhrpumpen sales & customer support
- Growing sales in all market segments by calling on assigned customers on a regular basis
- Maintaining active communications and relationships with respective In-House personnel
- Developing and maintaining active relationships with buying influences and developing new relationships
- Identifying and working with customers to understand and define individual needs
- Responsible for territory/customer forecast, budgets, and cost control
- Representing all Ruhrpumpen products including non-OEM products as defined in sales strategies
- Partnering with customers to understand project specifications and scope requirements
- Negotiating orders, including all technical, commercial, and legal terms and conditions
- Providing new pump opportunities to Inside Sales for quoting and specifications
- Responsible for all customer / territory communications and interactions through daily updates in CRM and forecast
Qualifications and Skills
- Bachelor in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent
- 5+ years of experience in similar roles
- Desired 5+ years of experience selling to the pump aftermarket
- Highly motivated
- Availability and willingness to travel to customer locations up to 50% of the time
- Excellent communication skills
- Ability to develop and execute individual business plans
- Experience selling through channel partners is preferred
