About The Role
As a Sales Engineer at Forcepoint, you'll be the technical heartbeat of the sales process. You'll partner closely with our sales team to help prospective customers understand how Forcepoint's solutions solve their real-world security challenges, through product demos, technical presentations, and consultative support.
Location: New York, Philadelphia, Boston
Responsibilities
- Deliver compelling product demonstrations and technical presentations to prospective customers
- Serve as the go-to technical expert for the sales team throughout the pre-sales cycle
- Develop creative solutions to complex customer challenges
- Build relationships with senior stakeholders internally and externally
- Contribute your expertise to help shape team goals and approaches
Requirements
- 4-6 years of relevant experience (or equivalent), ideally in cybersecurity or a technical sales environment
- Strong ability to understand customer needs and translate them into solution-focused conversations
- Comfortable working independently with minimal day-to-day direction
- Good judgment in evaluating approaches and recommending solutions
Skills
- Cybersecurity certifications: CISSP, CEH, or SANS credentials are a plus
- Hands-on experience with DLP, DSPM, or NGFW technologies - these are a real differentiator
- Familiarity with AI fundamentals, particularly as they relate to data protection

Pay
The salary range for this role is $190,000 - $220,000 and represents the low and high end of compensation for this position. Actual salaries are determined by various factors including, but not limited to, location, experience, and performance. This range is just one component of Forcepoint’s total compensation package for employees. Other rewards may include bonuses, paid time off, and many region-specific benefits.
