Key Responsibilities
- Deliver compelling and tailored demonstrations of M1, and JobBOSS² aligned to customer manufacturing workflows and business objectives.
- Lead discovery sessions to understand customer pain points, operational processes, production requirements, and business goals.
- Demonstrate core ERP capabilities including production management, job scheduling, inventory control, shop floor management, purchasing, quoting, job costing, quality management, warehouse operations, and financials.
- Translate customer requirements into recommended solution approaches and clearly communicate business value and operational impact.
- Serve as a trusted technical advisor throughout the sales cycle, building credibility with executive, operational, and technical stakeholders.
- Collaborate cross-functionally with sales, product management, implementation, and development teams to ensure alignment with customer needs and market opportunities.
- Identify process improvement opportunities and recommend best practices for discrete manufacturing operations.
- Provide feedback from prospects and customers to product management to help shape product direction and future enhancements.
- Support marketing and business development initiatives including webinars, trade shows, customer presentations, and thought leadership activities.
- Maintain deep product knowledge and stay current on manufacturing trends, industry requirements, and competitive solutions within the ERP landscape.
Qualifications & Experience
- 5+ years of experience in a Solutions Engineer, Sales Engineer, Presales Consultant, or similar customer-facing role within software or SaaS organizations.
- Experience supporting ERP solutions for manufacturing environments, preferably within discrete manufacturing industries.
- Strong understanding of manufacturing operations including production planning, scheduling, inventory management, shop floor control, purchasing, job costing, quality management, and supply chain processes.
- Ability to communicate complex technical concepts in a clear and compelling way to both technical and non-technical audiences.
- Experience managing multiple opportunities and priorities in a fast-paced presales environment.
- Knowledge of cloud deployment models and SaaS environments, including AWS and Azure platforms.
- Strong presentation, discovery, and consultative selling skills.
- Experience with Salesforce, Microsoft Office Suite, and Microsoft Teams preferred.
- Familiarity with SQL or reporting/query tools is a plus.
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Information Systems, Business, Manufacturing, or a related field preferred.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills with experience delivering virtual and in-person presentations.
- Willingness to travel up to 30%.
