RESPONSIBILITIES
- Support the adoption of Advanced Energy power solutions at our customers at all stages of the engagement process from pre-sales activity to postproduction/installation support
- Support AE solution recommendations, system architecture guidance, schematic review, on-site customer qualification & debug support, etc.
- We want to be thought of as part of our customer design team where they are actively seeking out a Sales Engineer to help solve system level problems
- Through developing engineering relationships with our customers, identify and communicate technical requirements for new applications or customer needs that aren’t served by the current portfolio to the product development; is this input is critical in definition of new products and roadmap
- Regularly provide technological updates and product training to customers, sales, and distribution
- As a trusted customer advocate, I have confidence and persuasive skills to earn the respect of engineering leaders both internally and with the customer
- Provide technical perspective that heavily influences the sales strategy
QUALIFICATIONS
- Charismatic communicator that can advocate for customers to an internal audience and for the company to the customer
- Solid problem-solving methodology
- A passionate and curious technologist with an ability to learn and adapt to industry trends
- Knowledge of power electronics with ability to qualify, test, modify, and debug power supplies in the lab as needed
EXPERIENCE
- Minimum of 5 years of power electronics design and/or applications experience
EDUCATION
- BSEE degree
COMPENSATION
- Starting base salary range: $125,000 to $155,000 per year
- Eligible for the Sales Incentive Plan with a specific target amount to be determined based on the role
