JOB SUMMARY
L’Occitane is seeking a Sales & Education Account Executive to drive growth within Sephora US. This role involves executing trainings, events, and sales support across Sephora US stores.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
- Sales Strategy & Execution:
- Drive brand retail sales and implement strategies to meet/exceed sales plans.
- Plan and execute retailer events, sales visits, and training sessions in Sephora US locations.
- Evaluate retail trends to optimize resource movements and achieve sales targets.
- Relationship Management:
- Build strong relationships with Sephora store management, regional managers, and retail associates.
- Communicate needs to key stakeholders and ensure visual merchandising execution.
- Team Leadership & Freelance Management:
- Lead and manage a freelance team to achieve sales goals and optimize schedules.
- Recruit, hire, inspire, develop, and retain productive team members.
- Ensure achievement of sales per hour and items per transaction goals.
- Training & Events:
- Provide ongoing product training for Sephora accounts within the assigned territory.
- Assist with higher-level trainings and events to meet sales goals.
- Train new door openings and assist with corporate events.
- Operational & Administrative Management:
- Support product and marketing campaigns through customer interactions and visual merchandising.
- Manage call cycles and budgets (e.g., T&E, freelance).
- Plan and execute visual direction and ensure inventory and operational standards are met.
KEY PERFORMANCE INDICATORS
- Provide best-in-class shopper experience to attract and retain customers.
- Meet all deadlines for requests, including calendar, call cycle, expenses, and event recaps.
- Adhere to Sephora protocols and provide competitive feedback to the Sales Director.
- Strengthen brand identity by maintaining visual merchandising consistency and meeting operational standards.
REQUIREMENTS
- Education: High school diploma or equivalent.
- Experience: Prior skincare/cosmetic sales experience (2-5 years preferred) or equivalent retail sales experience.
- Skills: Budget management, collaboration, communication, proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, ability to provide excellent customer experience, and adaptability to a fast-paced, growing environment.
PHYSICAL & TRAVEL REQUIREMENTS
- Full and valid driver's license.
- Ability to travel within the US, varying amounts depending on territory.
- Stand for 4 hours or more.
- Flexible schedule, including night, evening, and holiday shifts.
PAY & BENEFITS
The compensation for this role ranges from $80,000 - $90,000 for the LA region, with exact compensation varying based on experience, skills, and geographic location. This position is also eligible for a competitive bonus program.
