As part of Frito Lay, PepsiCo’s snack manufacturing, sales, and distribution operating unit, you’ll help grow some of America’s favorite snack brands, including FRITOS®, LAY’S®, DORITOS®, CHEETOS®, and TOSTITOS®.

The Sales District Leader is responsible for managing a sales district of 10–25 Route Sales Representatives (RSRs), overseeing a $5–15 million business. This role requires strong leadership, communication, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, constantly changing environment.

Responsibilities

  • Interact with customers (store management) to effectively sell in and execute sales programs and initiatives.
  • Lead district meetings focused on achieving sales objectives and goals.
  • Conduct one-on-one meetings and “work withs” with RSRs to discuss performance, selling, and customer service skills.
  • Coach RSRs to successfully sell against baseline and promotional opportunities.
  • Collect and interpret statistical data using PepsiCo-specific applications.
  • Partner with the product supply team to create accurate forecasts based on promotions and historical performance to ensure product availability.
  • Prepare and deliver sales presentations to customers as required.
  • Work a flexible schedule, including early mornings, evenings, and/or weekends.
  • Periodically lift up to 40 lbs.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree preferred.
  • Minimum of 2 years managing frontline employees.
  • Consumer packaged goods experience in a Direct Store Delivery environment.
  • Highly motivated with excellent communication, negotiation, influencing, and follow-up skills.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
  • Requires Department of Transportation (DOT) certification.
  • Safe driving record strongly preferred.
  • Position is limited to persons with indefinite right to work in the United States.

Pay

The expected compensation range for this position is $66,900–$111,950. Actual starting salary will consider location, confirmed job-related skills, experience, and education. A performance-based bonus targets 15% of annual salary, paid out quarterly.

This role is eligible for mileage reimbursement based on the PepsiCo Travel and Expense Policy.
