Your key responsibilities
- Starting with up to 18 months of training in our Blown Film Unit in Worms, followed by a structured introduction to the US market
- Lead and develop the sales team (professional and disciplinary) to achieve defined targets, including coaching on customer account and project development
- Develop and implement the North American sales strategy (product, price, place, promotion) in close collaboration with the German business units, contributing to sustainable order intake in the region
- Understand customer needs, translate them into technical requirements, coordinate with the supplying business units, prepare and price proposals, present them convincingly, negotiate contracts, and close deals
- Identify and develop new and existing customers, building and maintaining strong, long-term customer relationships
- Collaborate closely with technical, sales, service, spare parts, and modification teams in Germany and North America to ensure a comprehensive, customer-focused service and sales approach
- Represent Reifenhäuser at exhibitions and technical conferences, including giving presentations and acting as the company’s face in North America
Your profile
- Willingness to relocate to or within Germany for the initial training phase and, subsequently, to the United States for the long-term position
- In your role in the USA, you will be expected to travel frequently within North America and regularly to Germany for continuous training and close exchange with our business units
- Proven sales experience in the plastics industry, plastics machinery, or capital goods (preferably extrusion), combined with initial leadership responsibility or a clear potential for a leadership role
- Strong sales track record with excellent communication and negotiation skills, and the ability to engage effectively with customer stakeholders at all levels
- Strong entrepreneurial drive and strategic mindset, with the willingness to build and expand our business in a sustainable, long-lasting manner
- Proven ability to prioritize, manage time effectively and handle multiple projects simultaneously; able to work both independently and collaboratively within an international team environment
- High level of self-motivation, resilience and hands-on mentality
- Excellent English skills are required; German language skills are an advantage
