Make an impact
As the Sales Director – You will be responsible for driving individual sales efforts, developing strategic partnerships, and managing the entire sales cycle for Swisslog's advanced automation. This role requires a dynamic and experienced sales professional with a proven track record in the automation, logistics, or supply chain industries.
Sales Strategy & Execution
- Develop and execute sales strategies to meet and exceed revenue and margin targets.
- Identify and prioritize high-value opportunities in target industries
Client Relationship Management
- Build and nurture long-term relationships with clients, prospects, and key stakeholders.
- Act as the primary contact for clients, ensuring alignment with their business needs and Swisslog's offerings.
Solution Selling
- Collaborate with engineering, operations, and product development teams to design tailored solutions.
- Effectively communicate the value proposition of Swisslog.
Market Insights
- Conduct market research to identify emerging trends and customer needs.
- Monitor competitors and industry developments to refine sales approaches.
Pipeline Management
- Maintain an accurate and up-to-date sales pipeline using CRM tools.
- Forecast revenue and report sales performance metrics regularly.
Collaboration & Leadership
- Partner with marketing, operations, and leadership teams to align sales efforts with company goals.
- Mentor and guide junior sales team members as needed.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Engineering, or a related field; MBA preferred.
- 8+ years of experience in sales, with a focus on automation, supply chain, or logistics solutions.
- Proven success in closing complex, high-value sales deals.
- Strong understanding of warehouse automation, robotics, or supply chain processes.
- Exceptional interpersonal, communication, and negotiation skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team.
- Proficiency in CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Willingness to travel as required.
