About the role
Report directly to the CEO as Sales Director
Call upon schools across the country
Attend conferences with the team and solo!
Close ~$5M in new business each year—a single large district or 20 small schools, whatever fits your style best!
Travel a lot—tastings for schools, site visits, pre-proposal meetings, whatever it takes
Build a book of business for yourself
Capture existing market share and originate new business wherever possible
Become an expert in school food service and necessary regulations (ex. National School Lunch Program, School Breakfast Program, Child and Adult Care Food Program, etc.)

Requirements
- Minimum 3+ years of sales experience
- Some experience selling products or services to schools
- Experience selling SaaS is a plus
- You’re used to carrying the sales machine on your shoulders
- Super perseverant and tenacious
- Incredibly curious and a faster learner
- You don’t just sell, but you can onboard clients, assess their needs, assist with initial implementation
- You like to collaborate with the team
- You live in one of these states: Texas, California, Illinois, Florida
