Primary Responsibilities
- Develop and execute prospecting and marketing plans for membership sales.
- Schedule sales calls and business development activities to grow the pipeline with qualified leads and execute sales strategies through timely follow up and activities that produce high closing rates.
- Conduct tours of the club to qualified prospective members, coordinating with other departments to create customized experiences that increase sales.
- Establish client base of organizations, associations, social and corporate businesses through direct outside and inside sales efforts.
- Represent the club at trade shows and other public forums.
- Manage prospect database and pipeline including detailed notes and organization utilizing CRM system.
- Drive lead generation through cold-calling and outside business development.
- Maintain communication with club and sales support team through weekly forecasting, business reviews and sales reporting as necessary.
- Conduct quarterly competitive market analysis for development of pricing and positioning strategies for growing revenue.
Qualifications
- Minimum five years of commissioned sales experience preferred.
- Proven ability to prospect, negotiate and close new business.
- Strong prioritization, planning and organizational skills.
- Ability to utilize CRM and funnel management tools and apply them consistently to forecast business, manage customer opportunities, build opportunity pipeline, and make business decisions.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Experience in leading others preferred.
- Sets high goals and continuously strives for excellence.
- Effectively illustrates a compelling point of view and moves others to action.
- Bachelor's degree from four-year College or University.
