Primary Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute prospecting and marketing plans for membership sales.
  • Schedule sales calls and business development activities to grow the pipeline with qualified leads and execute sales strategies through timely follow up and activities that produce high closing rates.
  • Conduct tours of the club to qualified prospective members, coordinating with other departments to create customized experiences that increase sales.
  • Establish client base of organizations, associations, social and corporate businesses through direct outside and inside sales efforts.
  • Represent the club at trade shows and other public forums.
  • Manage prospect database and pipeline including detailed notes and organization utilizing CRM system.
  • Drive lead generation through cold-calling and outside business development.
  • Maintain communication with club and sales support team through weekly forecasting, business reviews and sales reporting as necessary.
  • Conduct quarterly competitive market analysis for development of pricing and positioning strategies for growing revenue.

Qualifications

  • Minimum five years of commissioned sales experience preferred.
  • Proven ability to prospect, negotiate and close new business.
  • Strong prioritization, planning and organizational skills.
  • Ability to utilize CRM and funnel management tools and apply them consistently to forecast business, manage customer opportunities, build opportunity pipeline, and make business decisions.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Experience in leading others preferred.
  • Sets high goals and continuously strives for excellence.
  • Effectively illustrates a compelling point of view and moves others to action.
  • Bachelor's degree from four-year College or University.
