About the role

Vanta is a rapidly growing company dedicated to helping businesses earn and prove trust through continuous security monitoring. We are seeking a Sales Development Representative (SDR) to join our dynamic and customer-focused team.

Responsibilities

  • Master the process of identifying strategic accounts using tools like Salesforce, ZoomInfo, Outreach, LinkedIn Sales Navigator, and 6Sense
  • Develop and execute multi-channel prospecting strategies to maximize efforts
  • Coordinate meetings on account executives' calendars and log activities
  • Counter objections efficiently and demonstrate excellent interpersonal and technical skills

Requirements

  • Minimum 6 months of SaaS SDR/BDR experience
  • Prior experience prospecting into companies with 500+ employees
  • Experience managing a book of accounts with a strategic mindset
  • Strategic approach to managing accounts and tailoring approaches
  • Ability to work autonomously and create process and procedures for a scaling business
  • Highly empathetic to prospects and strong brand representative for Vanta
  • Strong problem-solving skills and enthusiasm for making a large impact early on at a startup
  • Able to commute to the office 3 days per week in New York City

Qualifications

  • Authorized to work in the U.S. without current or future employer sponsorship
