Sales Development Representative II
About the role
The sales development rep is a key member of the sales team, focusing on prospecting new business within a defined geographic territory in the small and medium market. The role involves identifying new business opportunities, conducting background research, and developing value propositions.
Responsibilities
- Targets new business opportunities by identifying potential new customers and growing revenue.
- Conducts background research on potential customers and discusses their supply chain with decision makers and other appropriate representatives.
- Analyzes customer needs and utilizes Suggested Calls and other data-driven reporting to identify customer growth opportunities.
- Maintains regular and consistent communication with the manager and peers within the Sales organization, supporting joint sales call opportunities and other initiatives.
- Maintains a healthy pipeline of new leads, completes successful calls on those leads, and works to schedule opportunity handoff calls.
- Navigates internal, cross-functional processes to coordinate and collaborate with internal teams for a seamless and outstanding customer experience.
- Collaborates with sales peers, marketing, finance, operations, and other areas as appropriate to identify issues and develop/implement solutions for revenue growth.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree/equivalent OR Four (4) years of business-to-business sales experience OR one (1) year of the Company's business-to-business sales experience required.

Qualifications

Benefits
Pay Transparency: $2,529.28 - $6,656.91/monthly
Additional Details: This is a customer-facing role that requires regular in-person meetings. Candidates must live within a 50-mile radius of Salt Lake City, UT.
