About the role
The Sales Development Representative (ZBR) plays a crucial role in generating new business and building relationships with potential customers. They partner with marketing and sales to identify key accounts and engage the right prospects based on data-driven insights. They nurture relationships with potential customers and help them understand how Zuora can support their business goals. They develop strategic sales skills by working alongside experienced sales professionals and use cutting-edge tools like Outreach, Salesforce, AI-powered platforms, and multi-channel engagement strategies to drive results.
Responsibilities
- Partner with marketing & sales to identify key accounts and engage the right prospects based on data-driven insights.
- Nurture relationships with potential customers and help them understand how Zuora can support their business goals.
- Work alongside experienced sales professionals to learn how to communicate with decision-makers and influence top executives.
- Own your success by using cutting-edge tools like Outreach, Salesforce, AI-powered platforms, and multi-channel engagement strategies to drive results.

- Prior experience with sales methodologies, prospecting or in a SaaS environment is a big plus. SDR Internship experience (3-6 months) would also be advantageous.
Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor's degree preferred, but not required.
- Experience: 1+ years of sales experience, ideally in a target-driven role involving cold calling.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in CRM systems such as Salesforce, familiarity with sales methodologies, and experience with tools like Outreach.
- Soft Skills: Excellent communication, relationship-building, and problem-solving skills.
