About the role

In this cross-functional role, you’ll be responsible for converting Worknice leads into sales-ready opportunities. You’ll be part of the marketing team while also working closely with the sales team. As a lead’s first point of contact, you’ll play a crucial role in the customer experience.

You’ll connect with leads via phone, email, video, text, and chat, delivering a masterclass in rapport-building before booking meetings with the sales team. You’ll embody Worknice’s brand personality—fun, playful, and professional—and contribute to boosting sales and long-term business growth. Insights from your conversations will strengthen marketing initiatives, and you’ll gain foundational skills for a future in sales or marketing while learning how a revenue-driven team operates.

Responsibilities

  • Qualify marketing-generated leads into sales-ready opportunities via phone, email, video, text, and chat.
  • Serve as the key contact point for new leads, answering questions and directing them accordingly.
  • Host regular webinars to generate interest in the Worknice product line.
  • Continuously improve the lead follow-up process to drive conversion and efficiency goals.
  • Share insights about target buyers to enhance marketing initiatives.
  • Optimize product positioning, messaging, and storytelling through various content and media types, including video.
  • Work across HubSpot CRM and other revenue-generating technology to ensure accurate and up-to-date lead data.
  • Represent the organization at conferences, meetings, exhibits, and other special events.
  • Perform other duties as necessary.

Requirements

This is an entry-level role, perfect for an enthusiastic, motivated individual looking to develop into an experienced sales or marketing professional in a growth industry. Motivation, soft skills, and work ethic are prioritized alongside experience, with training provided to help you succeed.

  • Confidence engaging with and managing client interactions over phone, video, webinar, event, and written channels.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment.
  • Accountability for monthly and quarterly targets.
  • Strong time management and organizational skills.
  • Enthusiasm and eagerness to learn and develop new skills.
  • Ability to develop new ideas and self-motivate on projects.
  • Tertiary qualification favored.

This is a full-time position based in our Sydney office (remote work until post-COVID).
