Sales Development Representative
About the Role
As our next Sales Development Representative, you will turn potential customers into qualified leads through strong persuasion skills. You will use social media to find prospects and reach out to them. Our ideal candidate is a great dealmaker who enjoys talking to people on the phone and in person, with previous experience in customer service or sales.
Responsibilities
- Monitor competitors' products or services and create selling strategies
- Collaborate with sales management to achieve objectives and enhance performance
- Find new customers using a variety of channels, including in-person meetings, phone calls, texts, and emails
- Attend online and in-person meetings, trainings, trade shows, and sales events
- Strategize how to use social media like Facebook, LinkedIn, and other platforms
Requirements
- Stellar communication, presentation, persuasion, interpersonal, and negotiating skills
- Team-focused, organized, self-starter with an orientation towards service, detail, problem-solving, and meeting goals
- High school diploma or equivalent required; college degree preferred
- Successful experience providing customer service preferred
- Understanding of the sales process and how to enter information into client databases desired
