About the role

This position is based out of our Casa Grande, AZ office and reports to our Corporate Sales Trainer & Manager. You will receive comprehensive in-depth training from industry leaders, including one to two months of hands-on fieldwork with professionals servicing clients. This immersive training provides a deep understanding of Triumvirate’s business model, services, and solutions.

Following fieldwork, you will spend one month at our Boston headquarters for advanced sales training, prospecting activities, and cold-calling practice—all paid for by Triumvirate. After training, you will relocate back to your home region to apply your expertise and drive sales growth. The role is designed with a clear path to advancement, aiming to transition you into a key position within our Corporate Sales Team, such as a Business Development Associate (BDA) after your first year.

Responsibilities

  • Work closely with the sales team and mentors to identify and qualify potential customers and target markets.
  • Utilize cold calls, email campaigns, and social media to open new opportunities.
  • Manage leads by setting appointments, following up, and tracking progress.
  • Collaborate with the sales team and your dedicated Business Development Manager (BDM) to develop strategies for reaching sales targets.
  • Learn and use sales and prospecting tools to secure meetings for you and your BDM.
  • Use customer relationship management (CRM) software to manage leads and sales activities.
  • Master the consultative sales process (Sandler Sales) and deeply understand prospect goals and challenges.
  • Consult with clients to help them achieve their sustainability goals.
  • Provide regular reports on sales activities and results to management.
  • Attend industry networking events to promote Triumvirate Environmental and identify prospects.
  • Build a positive reputation with colleagues, including field personnel and internal departments.

Requirements

  • BS or BA degree in Business, Marketing, Communications, Environmental Science, or Environmental Studies.
  • Proficient with MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook).
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to complete tasks urgently, effectively, and efficiently.
  • Quickly build and maintain relationships with potential clients and colleagues.
  • Exceptional time management, organizational skills, and adaptability.
  • Willingness and ability to help others.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Desire to learn and grow in the sales field.
  • Valid US driver’s license and reliable transportation.
  • Eligible to work in the United States without future sponsorship.
  • Willing to consent to Motor Vehicle Record screening, criminal background check, pre-employment physical, and drug screen (inclusive of THC).

Experience with Sandler Sales methodology or consultative sales training is a plus.
