Sales Development Representative
Responsibilities
- Generate new business opportunities through outbound campaigns (email, calls, LinkedIn) and from qualifying inbound enquiries.
- Research and identify relevant contacts at target accounts, using tools such as LinkedIn Sales Navigator, 6sense, Apollo and similar platforms.
- Qualify and engage with prospects to understand their business needs, challenges, and fit for the solution.
- Nurture early-stage contacts through consistent, personalized communication and follow up on marketing engaged contacts.
- Collaborate with Business Development Representatives to ensure a smooth handoff of qualified opportunities.
- Follow up on event and marketing campaign leads to convert interest into qualified opportunities.
- Work closely with our wider Marketing team to refine messaging, identify target personas, and optimise for engagement with the right persona and target accounts.
- Share feedback from the market to help shape product positioning and go-to-market strategies.
- Continuously seek ways to optimise and improve our marketing and sales processes.
Requirements
- Fluent spoken and written English
- 2+ years experience working either in Payments / Fintech
- 2+ years experience working in an SDR role with experience generating qualified opportunities through outbound campaigns
- Experienced with cold calling and using sales engagement platforms such as Apollo.io, Outreach.io, Gong or equivalent
- Experience using Salesforce CRM or equivalent, managing contacts, accounts and opportunities
- Experience using 6Sense or an equivalent Account Based Marketing platform would be advantageous
- Avid and curious user of AI tools with experience in how to it can be deployed across outbound campaigns to improve results, enhance targeting, messaging, and conversion
- Strong presentation and written communication skills
- Has a natural aptitude for sales and is able to easily converse with people over email and video calls
