The Role
StarRez is seeking a motivated and enthusiastic Sales Development Representative (SDR). In this role, you are the fuel behind our sales engine—responsible for generating pipeline and accelerating business growth. Whether this is your first job out of college or you're transitioning into a career in sales, you'll learn foundational skills, get hands-on coaching, and gain exposure to the fast-paced world of tech sales. Role Specifics
Work Location: Remote, US
Travel: 5%
Compensation Structure: In addition to the base salary listed below, this role is eligible for a bonus/commission plan
Reporting Structure: This role reports to the Director, Sales Development

Required Qualifications
Interest in sales or customer-facing roles
Strong verbal and written communication skills
Comfortable making outbound calls and engaging via email and social channels
Self-motivated, disciplined, and able to work independently in a remote setting
Strong organizational skills; able to manage priorities and meet deadlines
Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
Cookable, eager to learn, and open to feedback
Positive attitude and team-oriented mindset
Preferred Qualifications
Experience in higher education or student housing environments
1+ year in B2B sales, cold calling, or lead generation
Familiarity with Salesforce, HubSpot, and/or Gong
Exposure to StarRez software or similar platforms
Understanding of the student lifecycle or PropTech industry
Process-driven and structured in your work
Experience using LinkedIn Sales Navigator or sales engagement tools
Experience leveraging AI-powered tools to enhance prospecting, research, outreach, and efficiency
Desire to grow a career in SaaS sales
