About the role

Join SOPHiA GENETICS as a Sales Development Representative in our Boston office. This hybrid role requires 3 days per week in the office. Be part of a global health-tech company leveraging AI to improve healthcare outcomes, particularly for Cancer and Rare Disease patients. Your work will directly contribute to our mission of enabling data-driven decisions in healthcare.

Responsibilities

  • Generate new sales opportunities through inbound management and outbound outreach (calls, email, Salesforce CRM, and other enablement software).
  • Identify the needs of prospects and suggest appropriate products or services.
  • Proactively seek new business opportunities in the market.
  • Serve as the front-line for SOPHiA GENETICS, reporting market feedback to internal teams.
  • Set up meetings or calls between prospects and sales executives.
  • Manage renewals and up-sell opportunities for key products.
  • Report weekly, monthly, and quarterly results to the sales manager.
  • Develop sales outreach strategies to attract potential buyers or solicit new customers.
  • Build relationships with customers to identify their potential needs and qualify their interests.
  • Present product information to customers once their needs are identified.
  • Follow up with potential customers who expressed interest but did not purchase.
  • Collaborate with sales executives to ensure company goals and targets are met.

Requirements

  • 1-3 years of experience in a sales role.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong problem-solving and negotiation skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Ability to manage numerous requests and time demands concurrently.
  • Driven and self-motivated with a strong desire to succeed.
  • Exposure to sales tools such as Salesforce, Microsoft Office, LinkedIn, Groove, Outreach, DemandBase, or ZoomInfo.
  • BA/BS degree preferred.

Pay

MA Pay Range: $60,000 - $120,750. The range may vary based on location, qualifications, skills, experience, and internal equity.

Schedule

Hybrid role requiring 3 days per week in the Boston, MA office.
