About the role
Join SOPHiA GENETICS as a Sales Development Representative in our Boston office. This hybrid role requires 3 days per week in the office. Be part of a global health-tech company leveraging AI to improve healthcare outcomes, particularly for Cancer and Rare Disease patients. Your work will directly contribute to our mission of enabling data-driven decisions in healthcare.
Responsibilities
- Generate new sales opportunities through inbound management and outbound outreach (calls, email, Salesforce CRM, and other enablement software).
- Identify the needs of prospects and suggest appropriate products or services.
- Proactively seek new business opportunities in the market.
- Serve as the front-line for SOPHiA GENETICS, reporting market feedback to internal teams.
- Set up meetings or calls between prospects and sales executives.
- Manage renewals and up-sell opportunities for key products.
- Report weekly, monthly, and quarterly results to the sales manager.
- Develop sales outreach strategies to attract potential buyers or solicit new customers.
- Build relationships with customers to identify their potential needs and qualify their interests.
- Present product information to customers once their needs are identified.
- Follow up with potential customers who expressed interest but did not purchase.
- Collaborate with sales executives to ensure company goals and targets are met.
Requirements
- 1-3 years of experience in a sales role.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong problem-solving and negotiation skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Ability to manage numerous requests and time demands concurrently.
- Driven and self-motivated with a strong desire to succeed.
- Exposure to sales tools such as Salesforce, Microsoft Office, LinkedIn, Groove, Outreach, DemandBase, or ZoomInfo.
- BA/BS degree preferred.

Pay
MA Pay Range: $60,000 - $120,750. The range may vary based on location, qualifications, skills, experience, and internal equity.
Schedule
Hybrid role requiring 3 days per week in the Boston, MA office.
