About the role
The Sales Development Program at RAJ Sports is designed to support multiple women’s sports franchises, offering a pathway for aspiring sports business professionals to launch and advance their careers in Portland, the global epicenter of women’s sports.
Responsibilities
- Engage in all sales training and development sessions
- Consistently meet or exceed daily and weekly sales activity expectations set by Sales Director
- Proactively prospect and qualify potential sales opportunities
- Drive revenue through the sale of full-season, partial-season and group ticket packages
- Build and maintain strong relationships with clients by providing exceptional customer service
- Consistently meet or exceed weekly and monthly sales goals
- Help organize and execute sales events for prospective buyers
- Serve as a game-day sales representative, engaging with fans and assisting at sales tables
- Maintain and update customer and prospect records in the CRM system
- Perform additional duties as assigned by the Sales Director
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Sports Management, Marketing or a related field
- Self-motivated and results-driven, with a strong work ethic and competitive mindset

- Previous customer service or sales experience is a plus, but not required
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Teams
- Ability to work a flexible schedule, including nights, weekends, and holidays
- Availability to attend all Thorns and Fire home games and team-related events
