About the role

The Sales Development Program at RAJ Sports is designed to support multiple women’s sports franchises, offering a pathway for aspiring sports business professionals to launch and advance their careers in Portland, the global epicenter of women’s sports.

Responsibilities

  • Engage in all sales training and development sessions
  • Consistently meet or exceed daily and weekly sales activity expectations set by Sales Director
  • Proactively prospect and qualify potential sales opportunities
  • Drive revenue through the sale of full-season, partial-season and group ticket packages
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with clients by providing exceptional customer service
  • Consistently meet or exceed weekly and monthly sales goals
  • Help organize and execute sales events for prospective buyers
  • Serve as a game-day sales representative, engaging with fans and assisting at sales tables
  • Maintain and update customer and prospect records in the CRM system
  • Perform additional duties as assigned by the Sales Director

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Sports Management, Marketing or a related field

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills with ability to present ideas clearly and concisely
  • Previous customer service or sales experience is a plus, but not required
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Teams
  • Ability to work a flexible schedule, including nights, weekends, and holidays
  • Availability to attend all Thorns and Fire home games and team-related events
