About the role

The Sales Development Representative is responsible for identifying and qualifying sales opportunities for IGEL’s North America sales organization. There is not a high degree of technical knowledge required for this position. This role lays the foundation for a successful high-tech sales career, with a path for career growth within IGEL.

Responsibilities

  • Schedule discovery calls to ensure the potential client is a good fit and needs IGEL.
  • Qualify potential clients through a series of qualification questions/criteria and pass them to an Account Executive.
  • Cold outreach to potential clients about their secure endpoint operating system needs.
  • Call on inbound leads and work as part of the North America sales team to meet the organization’s goals.
  • Interact with prospects via telephone and email with close attention to detail.
  • Promote and market IGEL’s business through extensive and persistent cold calling, emails, and communication(s) to prospective clients.
  • Work target prospects lists and focus on penetrating key accounts.
  • Meet or exceed assigned KPIs of outbound calls, emails, and customer interactions.
  • Book qualified meetings for sales teams, attaining your monthly goal as set by leadership.
  • Continue to build on your core skills and product/industry knowledge.
  • Expand your knowledge of Digital Sales duties and responsibilities.
  • Work with mentors to set goals for yourself to gain consideration for promotion.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree from an accredited university or equivalent work experience preferred.
  • Personal skills: Flexibility, integrity, and creative problem-solving skills.
  • Be a team player who builds good working relationships across all levels.
  • Possesses superb detail-oriented and organizational skills.
  • Has a positive and strong work ethic.
  • Must be a self-starter who is comfortable in fast-paced work environments.
  • Ability to work independently under minimal supervision.
  • Previous sales experience or extracurricular activities related to sales.
  • Previous cold-calling experience.
