Sales Development Representative
About The Role
UserVoice is seeking a driven and resourceful Sales Development Representative to join our growing Commercial Team. In this role, you'll fuel new customer acquisition by building qualified pipeline across inbound and outbound channels, focusing on mid-market and enterprise organizations. You'll work closely with marketing and our Account Executives to identify ideal customer segments, run high-volume outreach, and qualify prospects before handing off strong opportunities. Your job is to start the conversations that lead to UserVoice helping product teams centralize customer feedback and make data-driven decisions. This is a remote position.
What You’ll Do
- Execute outbound prospecting (email, cold calling, and social) targeting mid-market and enterprise companies looking to unify customer feedback.
- Qualify inbound leads and quickly route or book meetings for the Account Executive team.
- Identify and prioritize high-potential accounts through research, vertical analysis, and data-driven targeting.
- Build interest with prospects through personalized outreach, cold calls, and timely follow-ups on inbound activity.
- Run initial qualification conversations to surface pain points like scattered feedback, lack of visibility into customer needs, and misalignment between product, CX, GTM, and engineering teams.
- Book qualified discovery calls and demos for Account Executives, with clean context handed off.
- Maintain accurate pipeline updates, lead activity, and prospect details within the CRM.
- Stay current on product updates, industry trends in product management and VOC tools, and competitive offerings to sharpen your outreach.
- Partner with AEs and marketing to refine targeting, messaging, and handoff process.
- Meet or exceed monthly and quarterly activity and qualified-meeting targets.
What We’re Looking For
- 1+ years of B2B outbound sales development or prospecting experience, ideally in SaaS.
- A track record of hitting outbound activity and meeting-booking targets.
- Strong written and verbal communication, active listening, and a consultative instinct.
- Comfort running high-volume prospecting and outreach.
- A self-starter who thrives working independently in a fast-paced, evolving environment.
- Ability to tailor messaging to product managers, CX leaders, engineering leaders, and executives.
- Familiarity with CRM tools like HubSpot or Salesforce, plus modern sales engagement platforms.
- Bonus points for experience prospecting into product teams or familiarity with product management workflows.
- Background in customer feedback platforms, product analytics, or VOC/insights tools.
- Understanding of PLG motions or hybrid sales/self-serve funnels.
- Hands-on experience with sales engagement tools like Apollo, Outreach, or Salesloft.
