As a Sales Development Intern, you’ll gain hands-on experience alongside some of the most talented professionals in the industry, learning the fundamentals of sales, business development, and the healthcare technology space.
What You’ll Do
- Partner with Sales Development Managers and Team Leads to support lead generation efforts and market outreach initiatives.
- Research target accounts and identify key stakeholders within healthcare organizations across different medical specialties.
- Build prospect lists, analyze potential opportunities, and prepare lead insights before passing them to the SDR or RSM team.
- Engage prospects through creative outreach—including phone calls, email, and LinkedIn—to spark interest and generate qualified leads.
- Learn to articulate the value of ModMed’s solutions and understand how our technology helps transform medical practices.
- Shadow SDRs and participate in live calls to gain exposure to discovery and sales conversations.
- Maintain accurate records of all prospecting activity within Salesforce and Groove.
- Contribute ideas to improve team processes and outreach strategies.

What We’re Looking For
- Currently pursuing or recently completed a bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Communications, or a related field.
- Ability to work at our Boca Raton, FL, Headquarters, on a hybrid basis.
- Strong interest in healthcare technology and a desire to learn the art of sales.
- Polished, professional communication—both written and verbal.
- Organized, detail-oriented, and able to manage multiple priorities.
- Self-motivated with a positive attitude and a collaborative spirit.
- Comfortable working onsite at our Boca Raton Headquarters.
