About the role
UnionMain Homes is growing and expanding our team of dedicated new home sales consultants who specialize in the art of new home sales to provide a top-tier experience for our customers. As a New Home Sales Consultant, you will guide buyers through every step of purchasing a prebuilt home or designing their dream home with our wide array of personalization options.
Responsibilities
- Develop a thorough understanding of the new home sales industry, local real estate trends, and a network of realtors.
- Maintain partnerships and build rapport with valuable realtor brokerages.
- Create a referral network with UnionMain Homes customers, their family, and friends.
- Achieve and exceed company-established sales and closing goals.
- Engage with prospective buyers to determine their home needs and interests.
- Convert community traffic to sales to meet company goals.
- Follow up promptly with all potential buyers.
- Present the value of using our preferred lender and meet the preferred lender capture rate goal.
- Maintain knowledge of all sub-market competition.
- Assist buyers through the design, loan, start, construction, and closing process; coordinate appointments and follow up as needed.
- Learn and convey UnionMain Homes communities, product, promotions, purchase agreements, and processes.
- Develop a thorough knowledge of home features, options pricing, and design center selections, and communicate these effectively to customers.
- Utilize all UnionMain Homes sales technology, including automated sales contracts and customer management software.
- Place and monitor all on-site signage (e.g., home site signs, inventory signs, open house signs).
- Maintain model homes and communities to the highest standards.
Requirements
- 1+ years of high sales performance in new or existing home sales (or similar experience/industry).
- Entrepreneurial and customer-focused mindset.
- Strong demonstration of product demonstration, sales techniques, and quality customer service.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, adaptable to varying styles while projecting a positive company image.
- Valid driver’s license and insurance for business travel by automobile.
- Computer proficiency (Brix and other office business software preferred).
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with changing schedules and priorities.
- Occasional lifting up to 20 pounds.
- Work hours may be variable and include weekends; travel to various locations, walking, and standing are required.
