Sales Cost Estimator

About the role

CTL Aerospace is a full-service NADCAP certified composite-manufacturing company with over 75 years of experience, serving major aerospace and governmental organizations. We specialize in the manufacturing of Fiber Reinforced Polymer Structures and are currently seeking a Cost Estimator to join our team.

Responsibilities

• Prepares cost estimates for price quotations of new, redesigned, or modified products for manufacture.
• Works with a diversity of composite products of complex design, entailing a wide scope of manufacturing operations and variations.
• Origins, develops, and compiles cost data where no standard previous data exists.
• Revises cost data contingent upon modifications, material prices, and other factors.
• Reads and understands blueprints and part material spec sheets.
• Prepares all necessary forms of estimate for approval.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering preferred or Associates degree minimum or equivalent work experience.
• Ability to interact professionally with Engineers, Production Staff, and Customers.
• Excellent communication skills both written and oral.
• Drafting experience (Unigraphics or Catia) a plus.
• Ability to work in an office and manufacturing environment.
• US Citizen or Green Card Holder.

Pay

CTL Aerospace will provide a pay rate commensurate with experience and an excellent benefits package.

Schedule

CTL Aerospace operates in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment at our northern Cincinnati, Ohio location (less than 30 minutes from Dayton and/or northern Kentucky).
