Sales Coordinator (Renaissance Reno Downtown Hotel & Spa)

Job Duties And Responsibilities

• Aids in identifying and soliciting new accounts
• Aids in maintaining existing accounts
• Aids in achieving monthly revenue booking goals
• Completes daily/weekly/monthly reports
• Responds to requests for information and inquiries
• Distributes routing correspondence, reports, or contracts
• Maintains accurate and timely sales records and filing system
• Reserves conference space and books blocks of rooms
• Assists with setting up, maintaining, and clearing banquet space
• Coordinates group and meeting/banquet events
• Follows up with past clients for guest satisfaction
• Coordinates with customers on deadlines for rooming lists, cut-off dates, BEOs, contracts, etc.
• Details banquet event orders and distributes to staff
• Administers group blocks and catering/banquet events in the PMS system
• Conducts inspections of guest and meeting rooms, banquet facilities
• Works closely with front desk to ensure reservation accuracy
• Manages client-related special events
• Performs other duties as assigned

Requirements

• High School education, post-high school education preferred
• One (1) year in hotel or conference catering/sales assistant role
• Understanding of cross-team functions and ability to manage processes
• Strong project management skills
• Strong problem-solving ability, including metrics-driven and strategic thinking
• Effective communication skills, both verbal and written
