Responsibilities
- Provide daily administrative assistance to the sales and marketing team, including calendar management, meeting coordination, and phone/email handling.
- Maintain and update client information, sales leads, and activity logs in the hotel’s sales system or CRM.
- Respond to inquiries, follow up with clients, and support communication flow between sales managers and clients.
- Organize and maintain electronic and physical files related to accounts, contracts, and event details.
- Liaise with operations, catering, and front office teams to ensure client needs and sales deliverables are aligned.
- Help manage office supplies, organize sales materials, and maintain a professional and orderly work environment.
- Distribute memos, contracts, resumes, room requests, and amenities to relevant departments throughout the hotel.
Requirements
- A four-year college degree preferred, but any combination of education and training within hotel sales may also be considered.
- Proficient computer knowledge.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and oral.
- Basic mathematical skills that allow for calculation of room blocks, average rates, and forecast information.
- Ability to travel.
- Flexibility to work varying schedules to reflect the business needs of the hotel.
- Ability to organize detailed information.
- Strong knowledge of the designated market(s).
