Sales Clerk (Retail)

Responsibilities

• Make the store experience interactive, engaging and reassuring
• Uncover customer needs and offer solutions
• Maintain the visual appeal of the store
• Develop positive customer relationships
• Greet and wait on customers quickly, efficiently and pleasantly
• Affiliate with stocking and organizing displays
• Promote sales and assist customers
• Operate the cash register
• Stock and organize the stock room
• Quality control, price and stock merchandise
• Resolve customer complaints and handle merchandise returns
• Follow and ensure all safety rules are complied with

Requirements

• High School Diploma or GED
• Previous retail or customer service-oriented experience preferred
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills
• Strong problem-solving skills
• General physical abilities to perform clerical, cashier, merchandising and supervisory functions
• Availability for flexible scheduling
