About the role
Michael & Associates, a forward-thinking law firm specializing in criminal defense, is seeking a dedicated Sales/Intake Attorney to lead its client acquisition initiatives. The firm integrates technology industry strategies into its traditional criminal defense model, emphasizing a client-centered approach.
Job Responsibilities
Conduct approximately 20 consultations daily with pre-qualified prospective clients.
Evaluate their legal issues and clearly communicate Michael & Associates' value proposition.
Facilitate a seamless onboarding process for new clients.
Develop a comprehensive understanding of criminal law and Michael & Associates' defense strategies.
Respond confidently to client questions and advise on suitable next steps.
Recognize the stress and uncertainty clients face when confronting criminal charges.
Engage each client interaction with empathy, professionalism, and clarity, offering reassurance and fostering lasting trust.
Act as the initial point of contact for potential clients, representing Michael & Associates with integrity and professionalism.

Requirements
Passion for Client Engagement: Enjoy phone-based interactions and building rapport with clients. Prior experience in client consultations or sales is essential.
Proven Sales Ability: Strong interpersonal and communication skills are a must. Capable of clearly presenting our services and addressing any questions or concerns potential clients may have.
Legal Credentials: Hold an active Texas bar license, hold an active out-of-state bar license with 7+ years of experience, or have a bar license from a state with reciprocity with Texas.
Comfortable Phone Communicator: This role requires frequent, high-volume phone interaction. If speaking with clients over the phone is not your strength or interest, this position may not be the right fit.
Benefits
Competitive Salary Range: $140,000 - $160,000 per year (depending on experience and performance)
