Sales Associate with Food Service

About the Role

The Sales Associate with Food Service is responsible for supporting the smooth operation of the retail store, including stocking inventory, maintaining store cleanliness, providing excellent customer service, and handling financial transactions. This role also involves ensuring compliance with food safety regulations and company policies in a store with a restaurant/food preparation area.

Responsibilities

• Conduct daily activities to ensure efficient store operations.
• Stock shelves and monitor inventory levels.
• Maintain a clean and organized store environment.
• Deliver outstanding customer service and address any customer concerns.
• Process financial transactions accurately and efficiently.
• Follow all related food safety regulation requirements (preparation, food handling, storage).
• Adhere to all related food policies of franchise operation, including required certifications.
• Ensure compliance with company uniform policy.
• Assist customers and maintain store image to company standards.
• Understand and comply with clocking in and out procedures on the store's computer system.
• Operate cash register, handle taxable and non-taxable items, SNAP purchases, and follow cash control policy and safe drop procedures.

Requirements

• Ability to lift, stand, and remain active for the duration of the shift.
• Frequent movement around the store to assist customers and maintain store image.
• Form of communication to be reached.

Qualifications

• One (1) or more years’ experience working in a retail environment (Preferred).
• No licensure or certification required.
