The Sales Associate supports Management in promoting a customer and product-focused sales culture, where our values and guiding principles drive store operations, customer experience, and profitability.
Responsibilities
- Drive for Results
- Meet company sales goals using sales techniques and product knowledge; recommend merchandise based on customer needs.
- Maintain awareness of current sales, promotions, pricing, and visual standards.
- Handle merchandise, presentation, loss prevention, and other duties as directed by Management.
- Participate in visual directives, including monthly store sets and zone maintenance.
- Customer Experience
- Model and promote the Most Amazing Personal Service (MAPS) principles for a cohesive omni-channel experience.
- Resolve customer concerns promptly and efficiently.
- Ensure a fast and accurate register experience, staying current on policies for payments, coupons, returns, exchanges, and security.
- Reinforce buying decisions at checkout and meet add-on sales goals, including gift card sales.
- Sign up clients for the reward program and build a customer following through clienteling and wardrobing.
- Maintain knowledge of product fit, style assortment, and inventory both in-store and online.
- Use the customer book to maintain consistent client communication.
- Operational Excellence
- Support replenishment activities to keep the store fully stocked and visually appealing.
- Assist with locate fulfillment and visual directives, including floor sets, window changes, signage, and presentations.
- Maintain boutique cleanliness and organization.

- Perform other duties as assigned, which may vary by brand.
Requirements
- Retail or sales experience preferred.
- Must be 16 years of age or older.
- Excellent communication and customer service skills.
- Able to learn or adapt to company technology.
- Strong organizational skills and ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment.
- Able to communicate effectively with customers, Associates, and Management.
- Regular attendance is essential to ensure adequate coverage.
- Ability to work a flexible schedule, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
Physical Requirements
- Constant walking/standing: 67-100% of an 8-hour shift.
- Occasional lifting up to 50 lbs.: 1-33% of an 8-hour shift.
- Frequent climbing: 34-66% of an 8-hour shift.
