Sales Associate - Rock Shop

Essential Functions

• Marks retail merchandise to guests.
• Stocks and re-stocks the Retail area to ensure an adequate inventory of all goods.
• Performs cash and/or credit transactions with guests.
• Maintains current knowledge of rules, regulations, policies, and procedures-including precheck and cashiering procedures.
• Safeguards guest satisfaction with effective communication, customer assistance, direction, and information provided within company policies and guidelines.
• Promotes positive public/employee relations at all times.
• Maintains a clean, safe, hazard-free work environment within area of responsibility.

Non-Essential Job Functions

• Attends seminars when needed.

Education And /Or Experience Requirements

• A high school diploma or equivalent required.
• Cashiering/money handling experience in making accurate change in a fast-paced environment or an equivalent combination of education and/or experience.

Additional Requirements

• Must obtain and maintain all licenses / certifications per Federal, State, and Indiana Gaming Commission.
• Must successfully pass background check.
• Must successfully pass drug screening.
• Must be twenty-one (21) years of age.
• Must be able to work holidays and weekends, as well as flexible shifts and/or unusual hours.
• Prior experience in the Gaming industry strongly required.

Knowledge

• Knowledge of pertinent federal, state, and local laws, codes, and regulations.
• Knowledge of Hard Rock operations.
