About the role

As a Sales Associate, you provide excellent customer service that is friendly, genuine, and professional, always prioritizing the customer above everything else. You create an engaging and interactive shopping experience by enthusiastically sharing your product knowledge—whether in person, over the phone, or by helping customers choose special gifts, unique cards, or gorgeous wrapping. You contribute to a vibrant store environment by maintaining enticing, neat, and tidy displays. Your passion for customer service and willingness to help ensure customers look forward to visiting the store. From inspiring displays to assisting with services, there are always opportunities to demonstrate initiative and your enthusiasm for our products and team.

Responsibilities

  • Create a welcoming environment by engaging customers with friendly and genuine service to meet their needs.
  • Ask open-ended questions and use product knowledge to make thoughtful recommendations while actively selling.
  • Maintain a vibrant store by supporting visual merchandising and replenishment standards, ensuring a neat, tidy, and inviting presentation.
  • Leverage key campaigns and services, such as new item launches, promotions, memberships, and ship-to-home options.
  • Use training and communication tools (e.g., Cognition, Paper reSource, InsidePS) to continuously educate yourself on products and services, enhancing the customer experience.
  • Protect company assets by adhering to inventory and loss prevention standards, including completing inventories and related initiatives.
  • Work on the selling floor, which involves physical activity such as prolonged standing, repetitive bending, lifting, and climbing.
