The Pennsylvania Liquor Control Board (PLCB) is hiring Part-Time Sales Associates – Intermittent Liquor Store Clerks (ILSC) to join our Fine Wine & Good Spirits stores! We’re seeking friendly, motivated individuals who are passionate about delivering top-notch customer service and creating a welcoming shopping experience.

Responsibilities

• Engage with customers and assist with sales.
• Manage sales transactions using a computerized cash register.
• Unload shipments, stock shelves, and set up product displays.
• Receive, assemble, and pack wholesale customer orders, loading them into vehicles.
• Safely lift products weighing 30 to 50 pounds and occasionally up to 60 pounds, from overhead or floor positions.
• Stand for extended periods of time.
• Keep the store clean and organized.
• Utilize scanners, box cutters, dollies, carts, hand trucks, and pallet jacks.
• Follow legal guidelines to ensure alcohol is sold only to customers legally permitted to buy it.

Requirements

• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• Must meet the Pennsylvania residency requirement.
• Must be able to perform essential job functions.
• Must pass a background investigation.
• Applicants with a felony conviction within the last ten years are not permitted to work for the PLCB.

Schedule

• Permanent part-time employment.
• Preferred availability: 20 – 32 hours per week.
• Flexible shifts typically ranging from 4 – 8 hours per shift.
• Availability on a rotating basis with daytime and evening hours, as well as weekends.
• Schedule details may change due to operational needs.
• Monday – Wednesday: 8:00am – 9:15pm
• Thursday – Saturday: 8:00am – 10:15pm
• Sunday: 10:30am – 7:15pm
• A minimum of 13 hours per week is required, with the ability to work more depending on availability.
• Opportunity to work up to 32 hours per week.

Pay

The starting salary for this position for new Commonwealth employees is fixed at the minimum salary listed above and is not negotiable.
