Sales Associate (Part-Time) - Norfolk Premium Outlets, Norfolk, VA

About the role

We are seeking dedicated employees to join our team at DTLR stores. Our employees play a crucial role in ensuring that our customers have the best shopping experience.

Responsibilities

• Drive selling efforts and build customer relationships through exceptional customer service and sales techniques.
• Perform daily store functions including product merchandising, sales, customer relations, and store maintenance.
• Display basic fashion and trend knowledge to satisfy customer needs and maintain DTLR standards.
• Aid in shipments, merchandising, restocking, and pricing.
• Present a positive, energetic, and enthusiastic impression to customers and demonstrate a positive attitude towards the job and company.
• Comply with all company policies and embrace service training and product programs.
• Ensure visual standards are followed, complete daily restock, and represent adequate size runs according to visual directions.
• Help eliminate employee and customer theft, maintain a neat and orderly sales environment, and assist in keeping the store organized as directed by management.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• Previous work experience in retail or customer service is preferred, but not necessary.
• A high school diploma or equivalent is preferred.
• Must possess basic fashion and style trend knowledge and a desire to work with customers in a retail setting.
• Individuals should have problem-solving abilities, analytical skills, attention to detail, flexibility, strong communication and interpersonal skills to provide excellent customer service, manage inventory, transport merchandise, and maintain store cleanliness.
• Ability to stand for extended periods of time, lift/carry up to 50 lbs, work extended hours during critical project phases, and work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment with flexibility.
• Reliable transportation is required.

Compensation

The Sales Associate (Part-Time) pay range is $12.77 - $12.77 per hour. This role is eligible for the company's 401K plan.
