Reports To

Capitain (Store Manager)/First Mate (Assistant Manager)/Second Mate (Part time Manager)

Overview

Responsible for assisting the management team (Captain, First Mates, and Second Mates) in driving sales through exceptional customer service. Ensures the customer experience, supports our brand promise ("Every Day Should Feel This Good") and makes service a top priority.

Functions & Responsibilities

• Generate Sales
• Maintains efficiency in meeting goals/measures
• Develops and maintains relationships with top customers
• Sources and executes in-store events
• Customer Experience
• Ensures the store reflects Shep & Ian’s vision of “Every Day Should Feel This Good”
• Leads the store in email capture and educates new associates on best practices
• Keeps the customer wish list current and notifies customers of new arrivals
• Crew Development
• Assists with training new associates
• Fosters a welcoming, fun, encouraging and energetic crew and customer environment
• Recruits and refers top talent for the store’s teams
• Supports store and team-building activities with the management team
• Operations
• Maintains efficient merchandise controls
• Maintains loss prevention awareness at all times
• Maintains a clean and tidy store environment
• Merchandising
• Helps maintain merchandising standards, current compass (floorset), and brand initiatives
• Contributes to weekly product feedback

Salary Range

$15.76- $18.76 PT benefits not offered
