About the role

The role of a sales associate in Stryker's Sports Medicine specialty involves assisting Sales Representatives in promoting and marketing Stryker products. This includes educating and informing doctors, nurses, and other relevant staff about the proper use and maintenance of Stryker products, as well as providing updates on product portfolios and participating in educational programs.

Responsibilities

  • Assist Sales Representatives in the promotion and marketing of Stryker products.
  • Educate and inform doctors, nurses, and appropriate staff personnel about the proper use and maintenance of Stryker products.
  • Provide product functionality and update information to customers.
  • Advise on appropriate product selection and answer customer questions about product functionality.
  • Distinguish Stryker products from those of competitors.
  • Represent one of the world’s leading medical device brands and impact patient care.

Requirements

  • 0-2 years in an outside sales position (preferably in medical-related fields).
  • Bachelor’s or Bachelor’s degree required.
  • Successful completion of in-house product training program.
  • Must be able to communicate with large groups of people, communicate telephonically, use common office equipment, negotiate price and terms of transactions, solve customer complaints and questions, analyze territory market potential, and possess comprehensive knowledge of Stryker products.
