Sales Associate (Full-Time) - Middlesex Shopping Center, Essex, MD

About the role

We are seeking dedicated employees to join our team to provide exceptional customer service and drive sales in our DTLR stores. Our associates play a crucial role in ensuring our customers have the best shopping experience.

Responsibilities

• Builds customer relationships by providing excellent service and assisting customers in selecting products that meet their needs.
• Displays basic fashion and trend knowledge to assist customers and build relationships.
• Maintains and restocks merchandise, monitors store operations, and assists with shipments.
• Supports the training of new employees and helps maintain a professional, safe, and compliant store environment.
• Works collaboratively with the store manager to identify and address issues affecting store performance.
• Enforces loss prevention policies and maintains accurate records of transactions.
• Communicates effectively with management and colleagues to share important information and updates.

Qualifications

• Previous retail or customer service experience preferred but not required.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Basic fashion and trend knowledge.
• Open availability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work in a fast-paced environment.
