Your browser does not support the video tag. The Sales Associate is responsible for serving customers in a professional, quick and courteous manner, while complying with all food handling guidelines. Responsibilities
- Greets customers in a friendly manner.
- Understands all functions of the POS system.
- Makes change properly.
- Is proficient in opening and closing a shift, including completing all paperwork.
- Uses credit card equipment.
- Processes all sales quickly and accurately.
- Safeguards stock and ensures all items are properly stocked and priced correctly.
- Reads and follows directions.
- Checks in vendor delivery.
- Aids in ordering.
- Understands fuel inventory reports.
- Cleans and sanitizes equipment and performs simple maintenance.
- Keeps store neat and clean, both inside and out.
- Recognizes and reports problems to management.
- Projects a positive attitude.
- Ensures all food products are stored properly, rotated, and coded with expiration dates.
- Tests food temperature to ensure proper food safety and quality control.
- Provides friendly and competent customer service.
- Reports for work in a timely manner when scheduled with regular and consistent attendance.

- Able to work the POS system efficiently.
- Able to read, write, and perform basic math skills.
- Able to maintain a positive, enthusiastic attitude.
- Able to adapt to change when required.
- Able to communicate effectively.
- Able to dress appropriately and keep a neat appearance.
- Able to work holidays, weekends, and any shift needed.
- Able to communicate in English.
Qualifications
- Retail or guest service experience preferred.
- Able to deliver friendly, courteous, and prompt customer service.
- Able to work cooperatively with other team members.
